Yes — I'm based at 192 Hookfield in Harlow and cover Harlow, Old Harlow, Church Langley, Sawbridgeworth, Bishop's Stortford, Epping, Roydon, Nazeing, Sheering, Hastingwood, Ongar and the surrounding villages.

How much does tree removal cost in Harlow?

Fruit and nut trees are heavily discounted — from £80 up to £200 — because the timber and cuttings feed my woodcraft workshop and community orchard project. Common species (oak, ash, sycamore, beech) are quoted on site based on size, access and lift requirements. Site assessments are always free.

Why are fruit and nut tree removals cheaper?

Accepted Answer

The timber is milled into handmade bowls, boards and furniture, and cuttings are propagated for new community orchards. Because the wood pays its way, I can pass the saving back to you.

Are site assessments really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I'll come out, look at the tree and give you an honest quote with no obligation. I usually reply within a day or two.

Do you do emergency or storm damage tree work?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fallen, split, leaning or storm-damaged trees are made safe and cleared across Harlow and the surrounding Essex villages. Call 07871 157550 and I will get to you as soon as I can. If the tree is on power lines or blocking a road, contact the utility provider or emergency services first.

Can a tree be pruned instead of removed?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. Crown reduction, crown lifting, thinning and deadwooding bring back light and make a tree safe without losing it, and it is usually cheaper than a full removal. Fruit trees in particular crop far better after a proper prune.

Do you keep the wood, or can I have it?

Either. If you have a project in mind I'm happy to leave the timber for you — just mention it when you get in touch.
