Hedge trimming & removal
Conifer, laurel, beech, hawthorn and mixed native hedges cut back, reshaped, reduced in height or taken out completely.
Overgrown leylandii and laurel are the usual culprits — height reduction and a clean reshape usually solves the light problem without losing the screening. Where a hedge has gone too far, full removal and stump clearance is straightforward.
All arisings are cleared away, and I avoid cutting during the main bird nesting season (March–August) unless the hedge has been checked first.
