Most garden trees can't simply be dropped. I rig and section them down in controlled pieces, protecting fences, sheds, greenhouses and neighbouring gardens, then clear the site before I leave.
Common species — oak, ash, beech, sycamore, willow, leylandii and other conifers — are priced on site by size, condition and access. Fruit and nut trees are heavily discounted from £80 because the timber and cuttings feed the workshop and orchard project.
Dead, leaning or storm-damaged trees are worth getting looked at sooner rather than later. Assessments are free and there's never any obligation.
