Pruning & crown reduction
Not every tree needs to come down. Crown reduction, lifting, thinning and deadwooding to bring light back into the garden and keep the tree healthy.
Crown reduction brings the overall height and spread in without spoiling the shape. Crown lifting raises the lower limbs to clear paths, drives and rooflines. Thinning lets light and wind through a dense canopy, and deadwooding takes out the brittle timber before it drops.
Fruit trees are a speciality — a well-pruned apple, pear or plum will crop far better than a neglected one, and it is usually far cheaper than removal.
Pruning is quoted on site by size and access, and the assessment is free.
Every fruit & nut tree removal feeds cuttings into new community orchards, and the timber is milled for craft — nothing is wasted.
